New innovations are the driving force behind Timac's industrial
and commercial success. The company has well established links
with some of the best French and European universities, and with
internationally acclaimed research bodies such as INRA and INSERM.
A large number of university students attend company courses and
complete industrial placements with Timac.
Each year, over 30 research projects are undertaken by students supervised
by their universities in association with Timac's R&D team. Several
of these projects have led to patents being filed.
For in-depth research, Timac works in partnership with well established
research institutes equipped with the latest technology. Through
these different research channels, Timac has developed a number
of important innovations, including new leaf and root feeds, fertiliser systems specifically designed for
particular soil types, and new granulation techniques.
